How to Quickly Freeze Ripe Bananas

Instructions

  1. To freeze whole bananas, peel them, then place into a freezer-safe bag or container, and label with the date and contents before freezing.

  2. To freeze banana slices, peel and cut bananas into 1/2 to 3/4-inch thick slices.

  3. Lay slices in a single layer on a wax paper-lined baking sheet and flash-freeze for approximately 2 hours until solid.

  4. Transfer the frozen slices to a labeled freezer-safe bag or container, then return to the freezer.
