How To Make the Perfect Cappuccino

Instructions

  1. Pour 4 ounces of water into the espresso machine boiler.

  2. Add 2 tablespoons of ground coffee to the portafilter and tamp it tightly.

  3. Insert and lock the portafilter into the machine's group head.

  4. Place a cup under the group head and pull a 2-ounce espresso shot for 23-30 seconds.

  5. Pour 4 ounces of milk into a small pitcher.

  6. Submerge the steam wand tip just below the milk surface, positioning it toward the container's side.

  7. Engage the steam wand and move the container to incorporate air and create fine foam.

  8. Turn off the steam once the milk doubles in size.

  9. Immediately top the espresso with the foamed milk.
