How to Make Teriyaki Beef Jerky

Instructions

Prepare a food dehydrator.

In a bowl, whisk brown sugar, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Add teriyaki marinade, orange juice, water, honey, soy sauce, and liquid smoke; whisk until salt dissolves.

Slice London broil across the grain into 1/8 to 1/4-inch thick strips.

Place beef strips into a large zip-top bag, add marinade, seal, and toss to coat.

Remove air from the bag, reseal, and refrigerate for 24 to 36 hours.

Remove beef from the bag, pat dry, and arrange in a single layer on dehydrator racks.

Dehydrate for 4 to 8 hours, turning racks hourly and flipping strips midway through, until the jerky is firm, dry, and pliable.

Store jerky in airtight containers; at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, or refrigerate for up to 3 months, or freeze for up to 6 months.
