Instructions

  1. Start boiling water in a wide pot and add salt.

  2. Once boiling, slowly stream in the cornmeal while constantly stirring with a wooden spoon to avoid lumps.

  3. Continue stirring consistently for approximately 30 minutes, adding boiling water as needed, until the polenta thickens and easily peels from the pot's sides.
