Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F and prepare 24 muffin cups by greasing or lining them.

  2. In a large bowl, combine 4 cups all-purpose flour, 2 cups granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 3/4 teaspoon salt; mix thoroughly.

  3. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups milk, 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter, 2 large eggs, and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract or 1/4 teaspoon paste.
