How to Make Magical Reindeer Food

In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup uncooked rolled oats with 2-6 tablespoons each of red and green colored sugar until well mixed.

Portion the sugared oats into zip-top plastic bags, adding extra colored sugar for festive appeal.

Tie each bag with a ribbon and attach the poem: 'Sprinkle this reindeer food outside tonight. The moonlight will make it sparkle bright. As the reindeer fly and roam This will guide them to your home.'

On Christmas Eve, provide each child with a package to untie and sprinkle on the lawn while reciting the poem.
