How to Make Easy Gluten-Free Granola

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 F (163 C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Combine gluten-free rolled oats, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds, almonds, walnuts, and pecans in a large bowl.

  3. Heat butter, oil, honey, maple syrup, brown cane sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a saucepan to a boil over medium-high heat; remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract.

  4. Pour the hot syrup mixture over the oat mixture in two additions, stirring thoroughly after each to coat all dry ingredients.

  5. Divide the mixture evenly between the prepared baking sheets and spread it thinly.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes, remove and stir, then return to the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Remove from oven; for chunky granola, stir once and cool completely, or stir frequently while cooling for a more cereal-textured granola. Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator.
