Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly oil a 9x5-inch loaf pan, then press brown sugar evenly into the bottom.

  2. Combine ketchup with Worcestershire sauce and spread this mixture over the brown sugar in the pan.

  3. In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.

  4. Add the remaining Worcestershire sauce, almond milk (or soymilk), eggs, and panko breadcrumbs to the beef mixture; stir until the ingredients hold together.

  5. Form the mixture into a loaf, press it into the prepared pan, and bake for 55 to 60 minutes until cooked through. Serve hot.
