How to Cook Perfect Pork Chops

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400 F.

Allow pork chops to reach room temperature for 20 minutes, then thoroughly dry and season them.

Heat an ovenproof skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes, then add 2 teaspoons high-heat oil.

Sear the chops in the hot pan for 3 minutes without moving.

Flip the chops, then transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.

Roast for 6 to 7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 F.

Remove chops from the oven, transfer to a plate, cover with foil, and rest for 3 to 4 minutes before serving.
