Hot Crab Fondue
A lightly spiced hot crab fondue, rich with garlic, shallots, wine, cream cheese, Cheddar, and Worcestershire, makes for an elegant appetizer.

Sauté garlic and shallot in butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat until translucent.

Pour in wine and cook for 1 minute, then add half-and-half, cream cheese, and Cheddar; stir until smooth and melted.

Stir in crab meat, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and dried dill weed; heat for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Taste and adjust seasonings with additional mustard and lemon juice if desired.

Serve the hot fondue with breadsticks, French bread cubes, or crackers.
