Hot and Spicy Smoked Brisket

Instructions

  1. Preheat smoker to 225 F (110 C) with wood chips.

  2. Clean and dry the brisket, then combine rub ingredients and apply onto the brisket.

  3. Smoke the brisket for 8-10 hours; for increased tenderness, wrap it in foil and finish in a 180-200 F (80-95 C) oven for the last two hours.

  4. Rest the brisket for 20 minutes before slicing.
