Hong Kong Milk Tea

A smooth and creamy beverage, Hong Kong milk tea combines tea with sweetened condensed milk, perfect for serving either hot or over ice.

Instructions

  1. Combine water and tea leaves in a small saucepan, then bring to a low boil over medium heat.

  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat, stir in sweetened condensed milk to taste, and return to heat.

  4. Bring to a boil again and simmer for 3 more minutes.

  5. Strain the tea mixture.

  6. Serve hot, or chill and pour over ice.
