Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 325 F.
-
Place a 6 to 7-pound fully cooked, spiral-sliced ham, cut side down, in a heavy roasting pan and cover tightly with heavy-duty foil.
-
Roast the ham for 10 to 14 minutes per pound, or until an internal temperature of 145 F is reached.
-
While the ham roasts, combine 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup honey, 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
-
Remove the ham from the oven, carefully remove the foil, and increase the oven temperature to 400 F.
-
Spoon and spread the prepared glaze evenly over the ham.
-
Return the ham to the 400 F oven and roast for an additional 10 to 20 minutes, or until the glaze is thick and sticky.
-
Remove the ham, let it rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
