Instructions

  1. Line a strainer or funnel with a double layer of cheesecloth or a single coffee filter, then position it over a bowl.

  2. Spoon yogurt into the prepared strainer.

  3. Cover the top with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours to drain moisture.

  4. Remove the resulting thickened yogurt from the filter and store refrigerated for up to one week.
