Homemade Yogurt Cheese
A simple method transforms any plain or flavored yogurt into spreadable cream cheese using a funnel and filter.

Instructions

Line a strainer or funnel with a double layer of cheesecloth or a single coffee filter, then position it over a bowl.

Spoon yogurt into the prepared strainer.

Cover the top with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours to drain moisture.

Remove the resulting thickened yogurt from the filter and store refrigerated for up to one week.
