Homemade Vegetarian Tofu Turkey With Stuffing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Process tofu until smooth, then mix it thoroughly with sage, thyme, rosemary, vegetable broth powder, and poultry seasoning.

  3. Line a colander with cheesecloth. Spoon the tofu mixture into it, cover, apply a weight for pressing, and chill overnight until firm.

  4. Once firm, create a well by scooping out the center of the tofu, leaving a 1.5-inch shell, and set the removed tofu aside.

  5. Press stuffing into the hollowed tofu, then cover with the reserved tofu.

  6. Lightly grease a baking sheet. Invert it over the colander, carefully flip the entire assembly, then remove the colander and cheesecloth.

  7. Whisk balsamic vinegar, red wine, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce to create a basting mixture.

  8. Generously baste the tofu with this mixture.

  9. Bake for 90 minutes, basting every 15 minutes.
