Homemade Vegan Millet Patties

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. Simmer millet in water, covered, for 45 minutes until cooked through.

  3. In a skillet, heat oil over medium; cook onions and garlic until soft.

  4. Turn off heat, then stir in cooked millet, tahini or peanut butter, soy sauce, and salt until well combined.

  5. Form the mixture into six 1-inch thick patties.

  6. Place patties on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, until firm and lightly browned.

  7. Serve on a bun with toppings.
