Homemade Vegan Margarine

Instructions

  1. Prepare an ice water bath by filling a heatproof dish with cold water and ice.

  2. In a double boiler over medium heat, combine coconut oil, sunflower oil, and canola oil until the coconut oil liquefies.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the mixture reaches 120 F to 130 F.

  4. Transfer the mixture to the ice water bath and stir until it firms up.

  5. Move the firm margarine to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
