Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.

  2. Stir corn syrup, butter, powdered milk, and vanilla extract into the melted chocolate until smooth.

  3. Gradually add up to 3 cups of confectioners' sugar, stirring until the mixture becomes stiff.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a confectioners' sugar-dusted surface and knead until smooth, firm, and not crumbly.

  5. Roll palm-sized pieces into long ropes, then cut them into small pieces and place on a baking sheet.

  6. Refrigerate the candies for 1 hour until firm.
