Homemade Sweet Vermouth Recipe

Instructions

Start boiling 1 1/2 cups of white wine with all botanicals in a medium saucepan.

Remove from heat, cover, let cool slightly, then transfer to a lidded infusion jar.

Steep the wine for 24 hours, then strain out the botanicals using a fine-mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth.

Return the strained wine to the clean jar, add the remaining 1 1/2 cups of wine and cream sherry, then seal and shake to combine.

Funnel into a bottle and refrigerate for storage.
