Instructions
-
Preheat the air fryer to 400 F with the basket inside, and set 4 natural pork chops at room temperature.
-
Place 2 1/2 cups (about 4 1/2 ounces) flavored snack crackers on a baking tray in the air fryer while it heats. Air fry for about 3 minutes, stirring once, until deep golden brown.
-
Transfer the crackers to a plate to cool for 5 minutes, then crush them until finely ground.
-
Make shallow 1-inch vertical cuts in the fat cap of the chops to prevent buckling during cooking.
-
Season the chops with 1 teaspoon seasoned salt, then brush evenly with 1/4 cup mayonnaise.
-
Coat each chop thoroughly with the crushed crackers, pressing to adhere.
-
Place the coated chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 5 minutes.
-
Flip the chops and continue air frying for about 6 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140 F.
-
Transfer the cooked chops to a cooling rack and rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
