Homemade Pierogi Dough

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 room temperature eggs, 1/3 cup lukewarm water, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

  2. Add 2 cups all-purpose flour and mix until moistened, then knead the dough until firm and well combined.

  3. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes to 1 hour, or wrap and refrigerate for up to three days, ensuring it returns to room temperature before use.

  4. If using the dough immediately, divide it in half and set one portion aside wrapped.
