Homemade Panini Bread

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.

  2. Combine flour, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.

  3. Add yeast, butter, and enough warm water to form a soft, sticky dough.

  4. Knead dough for 5 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic, ensuring it remains tacky.

  5. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 30 to 60 minutes.

  6. Divide dough into 10 to 12 plum-sized balls, place on a lightly floured surface, cover, and rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

  7. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  8. Shape each dough ball into a 6-inch oblong roll, transfer to prepared sheets with spacing, cover, and let rise for 30 to 60 minutes.

  9. Bake rolls for approximately 8 minutes until set and lightly colored.

  10. Cool before slicing lengthwise and building sandwiches.
