Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9-inch square baking pan by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.

  2. In a large skillet, toast rolled oats, coconut, wheat germ, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds over low-medium heat for 8 minutes until golden.

  3. Transfer toasted ingredients to a metal bowl; once cool, stir in dried cranberries and flaxseeds.

  4. In a small saucepan, cook butter, honey, and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly for 3-4 minutes until sugar dissolves.

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer on low for 5 minutes without stirring.

  6. Pour the hot butter mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until fully combined.

  7. Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly and evenly with a spoon.

  8. Allow to cool completely, then cut into 8 pieces.
