Homemade Honey Dijon Mustard

A homemade Dijon mustard combines honey, white wine, garlic, and Tabasco sauce for a uniquely flavored condiment.

Instructions

  1. Combine honey, wine, onion, and garlic in a saucepan; bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Cool the mixture, then strain it into dry mustard in a small saucepan, whisking until very smooth.

  3. Add remaining ingredients and slowly heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens; then allow it to cool.

  4. Pour into a nonmetal container, cover, and refrigerate for at least two days to blend flavors.
