Homemade Crunchy Buckeyes Candy
Crunchy buckeyes feature light, crispy rice cereal mixed with peanut butter, then partially dipped in chocolate for a delightful treat.

Instructions

Beat softened butter and peanut butter until smooth and well-combined.

Mix in vanilla and powdered sugar until fully incorporated.

Stir in crisped rice cereal until just combined.

Form the mixture into small balls and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet.

Refrigerate the balls to firm them while melting the chocolate.

Melt chocolate or candy coating in a microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.

Dip each peanut butter ball partially into the melted chocolate, leaving a small top portion uncovered for the traditional buckeye appearance.

Return dipped candies to the foil-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 15 minutes to set the chocolate.
