Homemade Applesauce

Wash, core, and slice apples into 8 wedges, peeling them if not using a food mill.

Combine sliced apples, apple juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a large lidded saucepan; bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are very tender.

Mash or purée apples to desired consistency using a masher or blender.

Taste and adjust sugar or lemon juice as needed.
