Instructions

  1. Combine beer, red wine vinegar, ketchup, oil, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, red pepper, and optional liquid smoke in a small saucepan.

  2. Bring the mixture to a high simmer, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent burning.
