Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and spray a 2-quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Combine hash browns, soup, onion, cheese, sour cream, and 4 tablespoons melted butter in a large bowl; stir until blended.

  3. Transfer the hash brown mixture into the prepared baking dish.

  4. Mix breadcrumbs with the remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the hash brown mixture.

  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until potatoes are tender and the topping is lightly browned.
