Ham and Cheese Sliders

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.

  2. Melt butter, reserving 1/4 cup.

  3. In the remaining melted butter, stir in mustard, poppy seeds, Worcestershire sauce, and optional onion; cook until onion is tender if used.

  4. Horizontally slice the block of rolls without separating, then spread the butter mixture evenly on both cut sides.

  5. Layer ham, then cheese on the bottom roll halves, and cover with the top halves.

  6. Brush the tops of the rolls with the reserved butter and sprinkle with additional poppy seeds.

  7. Spray foil with cooking spray, then tightly wrap the rolls and refrigerate until 30 minutes before serving.

  8. Place the foil-wrapped rolls on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 15 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted.

  9. Slice the sandwiches apart and serve.
