Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.

  2. Combine garlic and Italian seasoning with olive oil.

  3. Roll pizza dough into a rectangle, then spread the oil mixture evenly over it.

  4. Sprinkle Parmesan and half of the mozzarella cheese onto the dough.

  5. Layer deli ham over the cheese.

  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella over the ham, then tightly roll the dough from the end closest to you.

  7. Pinch dough edges to seal, slice into 9 rounds, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  8. Whisk an egg with a teaspoon of lukewarm water, then brush this egg wash over the pinwheels.

  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.

  10. Optionally top with chopped parsley and serve with marinara sauce.
