Ham and Cheese Omelet

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in an 8-inch skillet over medium heat.

  2. Warm ham pieces for 3 to 4 minutes.

  3. Gently mix eggs in a small bowl.

  4. Pour eggs over ham in the skillet.

  5. Using a fork, continuously move cooked egg from the pan's bottom, allowing uncooked liquid egg to flow into its place until most of the egg sets.

  6. Immediately sprinkle cheese, salt, and pepper; stop stirring.

  7. Let the omelet sit for about one minute.

  8. Carefully fold one-third of the omelet over itself.

  9. Roll the omelet from the skillet onto a warmed plate and serve immediately.
