Halo-Halo Recipe
A traditional Filipino shaved ice dessert, Halo-halo, features layers of sweet beans, fruits, and ice cream.

Instructions

Prepare two tall parfait glasses.

Distribute half the sweetened red and white beans into the bottom of each glass.

Shave half the ice cubes and layer half a cup over the beans.

Add banana slices, jackfruit, macapuno strips, nata de coco, then another half cup of shaved ice.

Shave remaining ice and add another half cup.

Layer with red and green palm seeds, then dome with the final half cup of shaved ice.

Pour 1/2 cup evaporated milk over each, topping with a scoop of ube ice cream.

Garnish with crunchy cereal and serve immediately.
