Preheat grill to medium heat.

Coat the halibut with olive oil, then rub with salt and black pepper.

Place the seasoned fish on a cedar plank, put it on the grill, and close the lid.

Grill for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145 F to 150 F (60 C to 50 C).
