Halibut Fillets With Tarragon Cream Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C) and line a 9x13-inch baking dish with foil, then lightly butter the foil.

  2. Season halibut fillets with salt and pepper, arrange them in the dish, and drizzle with 1 tablespoon melted butter.

  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the fillets are flaky.

  4. Meanwhile, heat butter in a small skillet over medium-low heat; add green onions and cook for 1 minute.

  5. Stir in white wine, chicken broth, and tarragon; bring to a boil over medium heat.

  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes to slightly reduce.

  7. Add cream, then season with salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Drizzle the prepared sauce over each baked halibut fillet and serve immediately.
