Gunpowder Gimlet Cocktail
A gunpowder gimlet cocktail features tea-infused gin and a homemade salted pistachio honey syrup.

Instructions

Combine tea leaves and gin in an infusion jar.

Steep for 2 hours, then strain and bottle the infused gin.

Combine salted pistachios, honey, and an equal part of water in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil, stirring, then remove from heat.

Cover, cool, and steep for 1 to 2 hours.

Strain out pistachios and bottle the syrup; refrigerate.

Pour tea-infused gin, pistachio syrup, lemon juice, and bitters into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.

Shake well.

Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass over crushed ice.
