Guinness Marinade
A robust, classic marinade, rich with the deep flavor of stout beer, perfect for tenderizing and seasoning various meats and vegetables.

Instructions

Finely chop garlic, shallot, and onion.

Combine chopped ingredients with fresh parsley, tarragon, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, stout beer, soy sauce, and seasonings in a small bowl; mix well.

Let the mixture stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.

Marinate beef, lamb, and pork for 4 to 24 hours; chicken and poultry for 2 to 8 hours; or vegetables and meat substitutes for 1 hour.

After marinating, transfer unused marinade to a small saucepan.

Reduce the marinade for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened, adding more stout beer if desired.

Serve the reduced marinade as a sauce, or cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
