Ground Turkey Burritos With Refried Beans

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet, then brown turkey with onion until the turkey is no longer pink.

  2. Stir in garlic, refried beans, salsa, chile peppers, jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, and oregano; bring the mixture to a simmer.

  3. Cover and simmer the mixture, stirring frequently, for approximately 20 minutes.

  4. Warm the tortillas according to package directions.

  5. Place 2 to 3 tablespoons of cheese on each warm tortilla, then top with about 1/2 cup of the cooked turkey mixture.

  6. Roll up each tortilla, tucking in the ends to fully enclose the filling.

  7. Serve the finished burritos warm, topped with salsa and additional cheese or other desired toppings.
