Marinate ground beef with marinade ingredients and cornstarch for 15 minutes, preparing vegetables during this time.

Heat oil in a wok on high heat; stir-fry ginger for 30 seconds, then remove it.

Add marinated beef to the wok and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until it changes color.

Stir in chopped onion and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until softened.
