Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

  2. If using non-lean ground beef, brown it with the onion in a skillet, drain, then mix with tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and salt; otherwise, combine raw beef, onion, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix corn kernels, potatoes, flour, melted butter, and chopped green bell pepper.

  4. Press the beef mixture into a 13x9-inch baking pan and layer with the corn and potato mixture.

  5. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.

  6. Sprinkle with cheese and continue baking for 15 to 20 minutes, or until browned and potatoes are tender.

  7. For a bubbly, brown cheese crust, broil on high for an additional 2 minutes.
