Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill to medium (350°F).

  2. Slice watermelon into 1 1/4-inch thick pieces and remove the rind.

  3. Place watermelon wedges on a rack over a sheet tray, sprinkle with salt, and let sit for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.

  4. Brush wedges with oil. Grill undisturbed for about 3 minutes per side until grill marks form.
