Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Combine crushed pineapple, juice, soy sauce, shallots, olive oil, cider vinegar, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl to create the marinade.

  3. Place the flank steak in a zip-top bag with the marinade and refrigerate for 2 to 12 hours, turning occasionally.

  4. Remove the steak from the bag, discard the marinade, and grill for 5 to 7 minutes per side until desired doneness.

  5. Rest the grilled steak for 5 to 7 minutes, then slice across the grain and serve.
