Grilled Tandoori Cod

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Cut cod fillets into 2- to 3-inch chunks.

  3. Combine yogurt, olive oil, garlic, ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, chili powder, turmeric, and sea salt in a bowl to create the marinade.

  4. Toss the cod pieces with the marinade until coated, then cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

  5. Prepare the grill by placing a large, oiled piece of nonstick foil on the grates, piercing holes for drainage.

  6. Remove excess marinade from the fish and arrange the fillets on the foil, spaced apart.

  7. Cook the fish for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once halfway through.

  8. Serve the cooked Tandoori cod topped with red onion slices and cilantro leaves.
