Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill and oil the cooking grate.

  2. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, 3 tablespoons cilantro, garlic, shallots, cayenne pepper, cumin, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.

  3. Place tuna steaks in a bag or dish, pour marinade over them, coat, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  4. Grill tuna steaks over high heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  5. Remove from grill and serve with remaining cilantro.
