Grilled Salmon With Thyme and Lemon

Instructions

  1. Defrost salmon in the refrigerator if frozen.

  2. In a resealable bag, combine lemon juice, zest, oil, thyme, garlic, and salt; add salmon and coat thoroughly.

  3. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour; do not exceed this time.

  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  5. Just before grilling, oil the grates thoroughly to prevent sticking.

  6. Place salmon on the hot grill, brush once with marinade, and cook for 4 to 6 minutes per side.

  7. Remove salmon from heat when its internal temperature reaches 145 F, or when it flakes easily.

  8. Optionally, squeeze fresh lemon over fillets just before serving.
