Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill to medium and lightly oil the grates.

  2. In a bowl, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, vegetable oil, dill, and garlic; whisk thoroughly.

  3. Place salmon in a shallow dish, pour the marinade over it, cover, and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.

  4. Remove salmon from the dish, reserving the marinade, and place the fish on the grill.

  5. Bring the reserved marinade to a boil in a saucepan, then remove it from heat.

  6. Grill salmon for approximately 4 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily, basting with the boiled marinade.

  7. Spoon a little sauce on top of each fillet or steak before serving.
