Grilled Rib-Eye Steaks

Instructions

Preheat a gas grill to high, prepare a hot charcoal fire to white ash, or heat a broiler.

Combine garlic, black pepper, mustard, paprika, chili powder, thyme, salt, and cayenne in a bowl.

Brush steaks with oil, then apply the spice mixture to both sides.

Wrap steaks tightly and refrigerate for 1 to 24 hours.

Grill or broil steaks 4-6 inches from the heat source for 5-7 minutes per side for rare, 7-9 minutes for medium, or 9-11 minutes for well-done.

Transfer steaks to plates and garnish with thyme sprigs.
