Combine all marinade ingredients.

Coat quails in marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 3 to 5 hours.

Allow quails to reach room temperature for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the grill to high heat.

Grill marinated quails, skin-side down, for 6 to 7 minutes; flip and cook for an additional 7 to 9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 F.
