Grilled Pheasant With Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Season pheasant pieces with paprika, salt, and black pepper, then brush with melted butter.

  3. Place pheasant on the grill rack and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, turning and basting frequently with barbecue sauce.

  4. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 F.

  5. Remove the pheasant from the grill, let it rest for 5 minutes, then carve and serve.
