Grilled Peppers Recipe

Versatile and simple to prepare, grilled peppers offer a smoky flavor perfect for various dishes.

Instructions

  1. Prepare a medium-high grill fire (400-475 F).

  2. While the grill heats, halve or quarter larger peppers, removing cores; smaller peppers can be grilled whole.

  3. Brush olive oil on the skin side of each pepper piece.

  4. Place peppers skin-side down on the grill, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes until tender and slightly blackened.

  5. Peel off the blackened skin, or allow diners to remove it themselves.

  6. Season with salt to taste and serve warm or at room temperature.
