Instructions

  1. Preheat a gas or charcoal grill to medium (3500F-3750F), then clean and oil the grates.

  2. Halve the pears lengthwise, scoop out the seeds, and brush the cut sides with oil.

  3. Place pears cut-side down on the grill, cover, and cook for 10 minutes until tender with grill marks, then flip.

  4. If desired, sprinkle sugar on the cut side of the pears and allow it to melt. Remove from grill, sprinkle with salt, and serve.
